Anton Yelchin: I almost shot Dave Franco shooting ‘Fright Night’

written by Jenny XXII.VIII

Anton Yelchin had the heavy task of taking down a vampire in “Fright Night,” but the actor says one of his scariest enemies was sleep deprivation.

“Chris [Mintz-Plasse] and I had four excruciating days of shooting this fight scene and it was hard because it was like all-nighters and we just kept each other up and then I almost shot Davey [Franco] with a shotgun, I chopped Chris in the head with an ax,” Yelchin told co-host Rachel Smith at a recent screening. “It was late – you give tired actors weapons and that’s what happens!”
