Dave Franco is tired of being referred to as “James Franco’s little brother.” Therefore, he’s making a name for himself in the acting world.
His new movie Neighbors hit theaters this past weekend and he has a slew of other acting credits set to be released in the next year. While on the promotional train for his flick, Franco called into The Tommy Show and it didn’t take long for Tommy to tell him exactly how he felt.
“I’m kind of over your brother,” Tommy said to the actor as he sounded off his appreciation for the comment. “I love and respect my brother so much but I don’t want to be known as James Franco’s little brother my whole life.”
As a way to get to know the younger Franco, Tommy asked him to give three facts that most people wouldn’t know about him.
“I weirdly love playing frisbee, my favorite movie of all time is ‘Stand By Me’ and more days than not I’m listening to Otis Redding on vinyl,” he admits, trying to rack his brain while on the spot.
His new movie Neighbors is in theaters now and stars Zac Efron and Seth Rogen.
